Our Doctors

Dr. Powell was born and raised in Queens, New York. He went to Holy Cross High School in Flushing and went on to study Biology, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Farleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. Dr. Powell had the privilege of being accepted into the Dental Program at Georgetown University in Washington DC, where he received his degree in Dentistry in the last class before the dental school was closed in 1990. While at Georgetown, Dr. Powell was elected by his peers to serve as the final Student Body President.

“Dr. Michele”, as she is known to her patients, just celebrated her 27th year in dentistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree (DMD) in 1988 from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry, where she received Top Honor Awards in Restorative, Pediatric and Prosthodontic Dentistry, along with a Teaching Fellowship in Restorative Dentistry. She graduated Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the highest honor awarded to a graduating dentist for achieving both academic and clinical excellence.

Dr. Mears was raised in Livingston, New Jersey and graduated high school from Mt. St. Dominics Academy. She was inspired into the field of dentistry by her uncle who is an General Dentist in Alaska. She attended University of Pennsylvania where she received her undergraduate degree in Dental Hygiene. In 1990, Dr. Mears received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she received numerous Honors and Awards.
